A beautiful polished sterling silver 17 Jewelled half hunter pocket watch, with a visual window on the front of the case surrounded by Roman numerals. Opens to reveal a white dial with large Roman numerals around the edge of a visual window in the centre. The back case is plain and suitable for engraving. Arrives with its own matching sterling silver single Albert T-bar chain in a luxury polished leather lined box and velvet pouch. Comes with a full 1 year manufacturers guarantee.
OPERATING
Setting The Time
To set the time, gently pull the crown all the way out and move the hands in either direction. Once you have set the correct time, push the crown home again. The watch should now run at the correct time.
Opening A Half Hunter Pocket Watch
To open a half hunter case, press the button on top of the winder. To close a half hunter watch, depress the winder, it is important that you don't "snap" the case-lid shut, doing this will wear out the latch.
Winding Mechanical Watches
We recommend that you wind your watch at about the same time every day, preferably in the morning. Turn the crown clockwise gently and steadily and stop when you feel resistance. Excessively forceful winding could damage the movement.
Typically, mechanical watches have an accuracy +/- 60 seconds within a 24-hour period. This is due to temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and altitude affecting the movement. For this reason, you should reset the time daily when winding the watch.
