A classic design. Rotary have brought a timepiece of a double half hunter (two viewing windows on front and back, case opens front and back) with two visual windows to show the skeleton of the mechanical movement from the front and back of the case. When the front case is opened it reveals the window of the movement within the center of the display, surrounding this movement is a classic display of gold roman numerals against a gold tone background. The back case opens to show in more detail the mechanical movement. Other elements to this timepiece include branded Rotary packaging and a manufacturer guarantee lasting a lifetime (if serviced every three years).
OPERATING
Setting The Time
To set the time, gently pull the crown all the way out and move the hands in either direction. Once you have set the correct time, push the crown home again. The watch should now run at the correct time.
Opening A Half Double Hunter Pocket Watch
To open a half double hunter case, press the button on top of the winder gently to open the front case. Press the button further to open both the front and back cases.
To close a half double hunter watch, depress the winder, it is important that you don't "snap" the case-lid shut, doing this will wear out the latch.
Winding Mechanical Watches
We recommend that you wind your watch at about the same time every day, preferably in the morning. Turn the crown clockwise gently and steadily and stop when you feel resistance. Excessively forceful winding could damage the movement.
Typically, mechanical watches have an accuracy +/- 60 seconds within a 24-hour period. This is due to temperature, humidity, atmospheric pressure, and altitude affecting the movement. For this reason, you should reset the time daily when winding the watch.
